Our Maimana kilims are handwoven in the Maimana region of north-western Afghanistan. Renowned for its long weaving tradition, this province produces kilims in undyed natural wool, with soft tones — beige, cream, brown, grey — that blend seamlessly into contemporary interiors. 100% natural wool, undyed

The hallmark of Maimana kilims is the exclusive use of undyed sheep's wool. The colour variations come solely from the natural shades of the fleece — from ivory white to dark brown through ash grey. This process guarantees a chemical-free piece, environmentally friendly and exceptionally durable. The characteristic geometric patterns are achieved by interweaving these different shades of raw wool.
