Vintage rug

These are 20, 30 or 40 year old knotted oriental rugs. We collect them and give them a modern look through a special treatment. We are very keen to preserve their original beauty while making them a contemporary design object. We colour them with a special dye, absorbed only by the wool. The cotton warp and weft yarns retain their natural white colour, a technique that gives them that vintage look.

Our range of colours includes warm shades (red, terra-cotta, pink, yellow), cool shades (blue, green, khaki), neutral shades (beige, grey, ecru) and the timeless anthracite black.

These vintage rugs are extremely hard-wearing and easy to wash. With the height of the wool shaved off, they don't trap dust in their pile and are easy to vacuum. They decorate any type of floor and add a personal and original touch to any room, whether it's a living room, hallway, dining room or children's bedroom.
